SCHOOL!

AH! School started today! Ugh! Summer is OVER. But school actually wasn't that bad! I walked in and saw all my friends, and it was a lot of fun because we were acting goofy, as normal. I totally forgot what we were like as a class. WILD! I got all my school supplies a while ago, and on Monday we made sure we had everything and went out to get the stuff we didn't have. I got great locker partners, Aylissa and Rose. :) We got three new students, but sadly we lost four. One of them was really funny, and one of my friends. :( But still, today wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was nervous about who my locker partner was going to be, and luckily, that was something I didn't have to worry about! Although, my best friend Megan, and I are in different math and english classes. Which is VERY VERY VERY sad! But we're in quite a few classes together, so that's okay! I think this year will be a pretty good year. But I just cannot believe that summer is already over! It went by SO fast! AGH! Well I'm gonna go read Heartless (the 7th book in the pretty little liars series!) because Killer was GREAT and I can't wait to see what happens in Heartless! EEP! Byeee! Thanks for reading!!

Summer Fun!

Summer is almost over! It's sad, I know, but everyone knows it, they just don't wanna say it! I'm sorry! To make your the last of your sumer more fun, here's some stuff you can do!

Update!

Sorry I haven't blogged in such a long time guys!! I don't know why I haven't, I've just been kind of lazy! Anyway, here's an update one what's gone on lately.

About two weeks ago was a swim-meet in Quincy, and I did REALLY good! I finally got my senior cut in my 400 free, and I dropped in practically everything else!! It was a great meet! Lots of fun.(:

On Saturday I went to Seniors to swim the 400, (I scratched the 800, long story) and it was fun just hanging out with my friends from other teams. It was really crowded, but it was a nice campus and pool. I gained some time, but I was really nervous. I tried my hardest though! And at least I qualified!!(:

Sunday was the first cross-country practice. It was REALLY hot out, but it wasn't too hard.

Now I'm just hanging out, and sleeping in, because MORNING PRACTICES ARE OVER! :D So my summer has been pretty fun, hanging out with friends, going to water-parks and just having a gooooood time!(: Well I'm making some popcorn and it's almost done, so I should go get that! Carnival!

The carnival was such a big success! It was supposed to be on Tuesday the 22nd, but since it was so rainy, we changed the date to the 24th! At one time we must've had at least forty kids there at once! Two news stations came, and I talked on one, and the other main organizer, Madi, talked on the other! How did we come up with the idea? Well last year we were all really bored, and actually, the BOYS came up with it! We all thought of games and stuff, and then we put it into action! It was such a success last year, so we decided to do it again this year! Last year we raised a little over 60 dollars, and this year we raised a little over 85 dollars! Last year we were going to give it to TAPS, but then the disaster in Haiti happened, and we donated it to them. This year, we are donating to TAPS. My mom is taking Madi and I to go deliver the money next week! I would like to thank all the neighbors who helped with this, and Madi's mom, for letting us use the yard. I'd also like to thank Hannah and her mom, for donating the prizes! Also, my fifth grade teacher, for donating some extra prizes too! I'd also like to thank Megan, for letting us use some of her stuff, and helping out a BUNCH! Thank you everyone, it was such a great success, we couldn't have done it without you!

Summer Meet Time! :D

Finally! An outdoor meet! Oh and by the way, Happy Father's Day to any dads out there! Especially happy father's day to mine, though. He's amazing! I LOVE YOU DAD! :D

Anyway, this weekend was a lot of fun. It was an outdoor meet, not indoor, but man was it HOT! On Friday I swam: 200 free (gained:p) 200 IM (dropped and got a really good time!) 1500 (got my goal time!)

On Saturday I swam: 50 free (Got my same time but won the event) 100 breast (Gained:p) 100 back (dropped and got third!) 50 fly (dropped!)

On Sunday I swam: 100 free (dropped and got third!) 50 breast (dropped!) 100 fly (dropped!) 50 back (dropped!)

I don't know the places for all the events, I only positively know the ones I told you. I do know, however, that I got second overall and got a high-point award!! :D This was a great meet, I do have to say! I had a blast hanging out with friends I hadn't seen in a while, and also just swimming was fun! I really liked the pool. The only bad part was that my dad couldn't be at the meet today. :( He got sick! Ewh! But he's better now! Well yep, that's all for now! The carnival is coming up, tomorrow we're making sure everything is set, and then Tuesday we're outside at 9 to set up and be ready by 11! :D Thanks for reading!

Summer Carnival!

Yes, it's that time again, our annual Summer Carnival is coming up soon! This year, it's patriotic themed. Face painting and prizes are patriotic themed. Just some of the face painting though. Like the smiley can be regular or patriotic. And we have American Flags, for face painting, and a lot of other stuff! I would like to thank my friend Hannah, and her mom, for giving us the huge, and I mean HUGE, bag of prizes for this carnival! It's really spectacular, there are so many things in the bag!! This year, we have new games! One game, though, is really different! It's not really a game, but still. It's a Nerf War! If you want to be part of the Nerf War, you have to have the following:

Swimmeeeeet!:)

Over the weekend I had a swim-meet! It was a lot of fun! My team didn't go, though. :( But I got to hang out with all my friends from the other teams! That was a lot of fun!! I did good, in practically all my events. I swam the 800 for the first time, and I won my heat! :) I also got a really nice time. I swam some events I don't usually get to swim, which was pretty cool. The meet was just fun overall, and I did good overall too! I swam open, not 11-12, so that I didn't have to get up super early in the morning, and drive for two hours and be there by 7:30. So I swam open to swim in the afternoon. Soo... yep! We have another meet in two weeks too! But this Saturday, is our first long course practice! And one of my best friends, Maggie, is coming back from Japan! All my friends are really excited to see her again! YAY!

STATE!!!

Ahhhhhh! Track is going great! At this big invitational I did FANTASTIC. I was really happy.(: At sectionals I did REALLY REALLY REALLY good too!! Our whole team did! It was a lot of fun. I got second overall in the mile at sectionals, and beat my PR by 13 seconds. I would've run the 800, but, short version of the story, my ankle was sore after my race and when I was resting it, this little kid stepped on it and twisted it. So I scratched the 800, and just ran the 4x4 at the end. We did pretty good in that. I'm going to state tomorrow (I get to leave school at 11:30... YAY![:) and so are a bunch of my friends. Two other girls are running tomorrow, but the whole track team (that made it to state) is coming with us to cheer us on. My two other friends that, sadly, didn't make it to state, are leaving school at like 1:45 to make it in time to watch us. They're taking another friend of mine that doesn't run track, with. The track is only like 2 miles away, but the ride could take an hour to an hour and a half!! How? There's THOUSANDS of kids in it, so there is going to be a MAJOR traffic jam!! Aghh! Anyway, I'm super excited for tomorrow, I've never gone to state before!! I should go... I'm getting thirsty... :D

Track meet!!(:

Today, we had a track meet. I had three events, and I did good in all of them! My first race was the 400, and I dropped 4 seconds from Monday's meet. My second race was the 800 and I got my PR. My last race was a relay, which was, and I'm serious, 2 minutes after my 800. We got 3rd place in the relay, I got second in my individual events! I also got to see my cousin for the second time this week!(:

The track meet was a lotta fun though. And today, I also got to be secretary for a day! So all day I didn't have to do any school work, I just had to run around the school a BUNCH delivering stuff to teachers. I also got to answer the phone, and go over the intercom if someone from a class needed to come down to the office to get something. It was a blast! :)

Anyway, I'm eating Spaghetti-O's and I'm scared I'm gonna spill 'em on my laptop, 'cause you know me, a klutz.(;

WOW!

Wow! I haven't posted in forever! I didn't even realize it, sorry! How was everyone's Easter? Mine was really fun, and I got lots of candy! YUM! Anyway, it's really nice out. The weather is beautiful. I love it!

Yesterday, I had a track meet. It was a bunch of fun! It was just relays, but we had relays you don't usually get to run. I ran the 4x100, the 1600 medley, and the 4x200 coed. We did really good on the 4x100, and on the 1600 too. I had to run an 800 on that! On the 4x200, we were in second place, and this boy was in front of me. I knew I had to get us in first, so I just took off with everything I had since it was the last race of the day. I caught up, and then passed him, handed off the baton to this boy named Tre, and we ended up winning! It was really fun! Right after that, I immediately went to swim practice. I was an hour late, but trust me, after a long and hard track meet, it was tough to swim! I was extremely tired, I could barely move my arms on the 125's fly! Anyway, my spring break has been FANTASTIC. It ends on Sunday though :(. I do not wanna go back to school! But at least I have something to look forward too. Every year after spring break, school flies by and before you know it, it's the last day! So hopefully it flies by extra quick this year! :). Thanks for reading, I hope you had a great Easter!

Uh oh! This is a heads-up for all you Facebookers! Facebook, as most of you know, is the number one social networking site. Facebook is also, my favorite website of all time :). A virus is going around on Facebook, so watch out! Do not join any groups with similar names to this one: Change the color of your profile!

Learn how to type upside down!

Add music to your profile

Any other group or fan pages are okay, but these are not. These are how viruses get into your computer. They want you to do all this stupid stuff, and then it turns out, (as always) it doesn't work. If you have a Mac, you are safe, we are immune. If you have a PC or Dell, I would be careful and watch what you are joining and becoming a fan of. Also, remove friends who have the virus. Yes, it's not a fun thing to do, just explain what you're doing before you do it. One of my friends had a virus, and she kept sending me all these links to youtube and stuff. I asked my other friends that were also friends with her if they got them, and they said yes. I removed her, and she made a new Facebook, but that one was hacked and a virus entered it also. She removed herself completely from Facebook, and is only on Myspace.

If you get the virus, I would recommend doing what she did. Make a new page. If that also gets hacked, then you should join a different social networking site, but I would not recommend Myspace. Get AIM, or Skype, or Yahoo Messenger.

This is just a heads-up, there is no guarantee you will or will not get the virus! Hope this helps!

JO's!(:

Alrighty, so JO's was last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Let me tell you, it was a BLAST! One of the funnest meets I've been to! On Friday I dropped in my 200 free, and on Saturday our relay did pretty well. But lemme tell you, my individual race, not so much. I gained six seconds, and got dead last! Woooh! Hahaha. But Sunday, I was in the championship heat for both of my events, so I scratched the 100 free in the morning so I could sleep in. I got to go in the ready room and stretch and talk with my friends from other teams, and then we paraded out while they played "We Will Rock You". I practically got my same time in the 500, so that's pretty good. Our relay was ranked sixth, and we were hoping to place, but we got seventh. We still dropped though, which is always good! We did notice though, that the relay next to us, put either vaseline or oil on them. Their skin looked awfully shiny, so when I "accidentally" brushed by them, whatever they had on their skin went on mine! They cheated! I HATE CHEATERS. Whatever, if they have to cheat to win, they aren't winners. :) Overall it was a really fun and good meet.

Seniors!(:

Heyy! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. Very busy. A lot of meets, huge projects, oh the life of a student!/:. Anyway, Thursday I headed up to Chicago for Seniors!! It was a blast! The first time ever, it was so much fun! Only five of us there, but it was Thursday and a lot of people didn't swim the long distance. I didn't taper for Seniors, I was tapering for JO's. So yeah, my time stayed the same. But overall the meet was very very very veryx10000000000 fun!(:.

Oh and lemme give you a quick update on regionals. I got a best time in everything except the last event of the whole weekend, the 200 free. Let's see. My friends and I had a blast. Lots of pictures. Some cool ones of us underwater too! I got to hang out with some people I don't get to see a whole lot. Oh and did I mention, I had a blast?!!! Here's what I got, places wise. 5th, 2nd, 2nd, 1st, 4th, 3rd, 6th, 4th, 1st. The only reason I know this is because I have my medals in my lap(:. All my friends did great! They all got on the podium at least once, and a couple of the times they won! It was great!! Well, thanks for reading, see ya later!
