Recess and Stroke Clinic

Hey it's Splash again! Today at recess, my friend and I were doing piggy-back ride. I didn't get on her back all the way but I did get on. My friend tripped and she fell, so did I. I got cuts on each of my hands, and I also got the wind nocked out of me! My friend got a cut on each of her hands, and her knee. I also hurt my knee, and it really hurt. When we both went to the office to get band-aids I didn't feel very good. I felt like I could puke! When I went into the lunchroom and was walking toward my seat all my other friends said I looked VERY pale. So, then I went back to the office and just sat down and cooled off. Lunch finished before I could start so I stayed after with my friend and we finished eating. Later, I had to get some ice for my knee, and so did my friend. We couldn't hardly walk up and down the stairs! When I got out of school, I felt better. So now onto Stroke Clinic. We worked on all 4 strokes, turns, and starts. We basically just reviewed how to do the strokes correctly and stuff like that. Then we also reviewed starts and turns. After we did all that I raced my friend. It was a 50 yard freestyle. He beat me, but by a stroke. He is very tall for his age so he has longer strokes than I do. He always calls me short, but I reply "I'm not short, I'm fun-sized!" Then he walks away.
