Today I had a swim meet! I went to practice this morning, then at around 1:00 I left for the meet. It was just me and this boy named Alex from my team, but I dropped 10 seconds in my 1000. My cap started to creep off at about 750, and by 900, it was off! My goggles then started to fill up with water, but I all out sprinted so I could finish. I had a killer cramp, but I dropped time and got the zone. I was really close to the record for my team, so I'm hoping to get that next time. I had a really fun time though. I got to see all my friends from the other teams, and hang out with them like I was part of their team. Lemme tell you, those girls and boys are pretty wild... you know exactly who you are :) Anyway, I was glad I went. My friend, Jake, counted for me for most of it, and then Alex's mom took over because he was in the next heat with Alex. Yeah, for the long distance the heats went girls, boys, girls, boys. Fastest to slowest. I was in the first heat, which meant I was the fastest of the girls. Well, I am pretty exhausted, so I better get some sleep. I have Church tomorrow, then chilling out, then off to swim practice!
