Where do you want to go to college?

Hi guys! I've always wanted to go to University of Texas, and that is my dream. I want to get a full scholarship for swimming, but I want to go there for journalism and photography. I want to write a book on the ocean, with photographs in it. Sounds cool right? My friend, Katie, wants to go to University of Florida for astronomy. My friend, Jordan, wants to go the college Michael Phelps trained at for swimming and journalism. It's in Michigan. My friend, Madison, also wants to go to Florida like Katie, but for journalism. We all like to write! I have a lot more friends, and when I find out what they want to go to, I will edit this blog. University of Texas is in Austin, Texas. It is a really nice college, home to Ian Crocker. They are the longhorns! as you can see at the top.  The most famous thing on campus is the Clock Tower which you can see in the top right corner.  I will be putting lots of pictures in my upcoming blogs, if you are wondering. Anyway, please post a comment, telling me what college you want to go to, what college you are in, or what college you went to. Thanks for checking out my blog!

Hildy and Me

This is just like Marley and Me, but with my fur-ball, Hildy. Hildy is a beautiful German Shepherd. She is black with tan legs. Very pretty dog. She was only 7 weeks old when we got her on that cold November night in 2006. She was so tiny then. Now she is the biggest dog I've ever seen. We call her a fur ball because she is just hair! She sheds everywhere! That first year was the hardest. We had to train her to sit by the door when she had to go to the bathroom. We had to train her to be obedient. And it snowed so much that year!! She loved snow. Whenever we took her out to go to the bathroom, it took forever to come back in. She would play around in the snow and it was hard to control her. When we got her, her name was Lovey, but it didn't fit her. So finally we came up with the name Hildy. Her full name is Hildy Von Pib and then our last name which I will not say. Pib stands for Pain in butt. Don't ask my mom made it up. Anyway, now Hildy and I always play with each other, lay on the floor next to each other and watch TV, and just mess around. I don't get her too wound up because then it's hard to calm her down. So that is what I have to say about Hildy and Me.

Crawfordsville!

I just got back from a swim meet yesterday night. I got lots of best times, and had lots of fun! In my 500 freestyle, I went a 5:53! 2 seconds off the J.O.!!!! Then I got a best time in my 200 free, 100 back, 100 fly, 50 breast, 200 IM, and both of our relays, free and medly, won the event! The hotel was actually a motel, which was pretty cool. We got a suite, and it had a hot tub in it! We played hostage in the hotel after the swim meet, which was extremely fun! If you don't know what it is, I will explain. Hostage is a game kind of like tag and hide and seek combined. Two or Three people are it, depending on how many players you have. Then the people that are "it" count to 60 or however long you want. The others pick a partner, and make sure your partner and you both have a cell phone, if not, someone to contact one and other, and go hide. When your partner or you gets caught by someone who is "it", the person takes you to the dungeon, and you text/ call your partner. If no one has a cell phone then the person who is it calls the kidnapped person's partner. So the people that are "it" have to have a phone. Then your partner can get past the people that are it, and come free you. Once you and your partner are both caught, you loose. It's really fun!! You have to make sure it's dark out, or their is a few dark rooms to hide in. Try playing it at a party! Don't forget to read my next blog called Hildy and Me!

Happy New Year!

SORRY! I posted a blog a few days ago, but it said their was an error that I couldn't fix. Then I had a swim meet and I just got back last night! Happy New Year! Sorry that it is so late. Hope you all aren't breaking your New Year's Resolution(s)! Mine is:
To spend less time on the computer, and more time helping around the house. I will keep track by a note book. If I go over 1 and half hours, I will not eat any sweet treats that day. If I stay under, I will reward myself with a few treats.
I hope you guys don't go overboard and have a lot! Don't have Resolutions that are unreasonable, or out of your reach. That will just stress you out, and make you mad because you aren't getting them. Start small and end big! My next blog will be about my swim meet, and the one after that will be called Hildy and Me. If you want, you can post comments on what your Resolutions are! Well, I'm going to get started on my next blog, so remember not to break your Resolutions! Happy 2009 everyone!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I know I haven't posted in a week, but I got busy! Real busy. I had no idea you can get that busy, that fast. Anyway it's 2009 now! Are you guys ready? I know I am!! Two of my New Year Resolutions are:
1. To be more patient with people
2. To spend less time on the computer. Under 1 and a half hours a day.
What are yours? Hopefully you have one or two, but not many more than that. If you have more, it will stress you out, because you will be trying to concentrate on not breaking them, or doing them all the time. You also shouldn't make resolutions that are out of reach. Such as:
Play video games for 1 hour a week
Get 100% on every test. If you don't then you have to study for an extra hour for every test.

Those things are out of reach, and quite hard. If you do those already, I'm sorry. Anyway, I hope you all had a nice New Year's Eve and Day, because I know I did! Happy 2009 and remember your resolutions!
